Ideas for Role Play?

So far I have 5 separate worlds we can play in for Role Play in mind.


Current World Map - We use a world map of today, and work forwards, creating our own events and whatnot...

Historical World Map - We start back in 1900, and work our way through to now playing key events through history like WW1, Russian Civil War, Spanish Civil War, WW2, Greek Civil War, Chinese Civil War, Korean War, Vietnam War, Cuban Revolution, Soviet-Afghan war, etc.... Along with adding our own events in along the way...

NS2 World Map - Using a map of an earth that formed differently, we select areas for our country to form in and then duel it out, spreading influence, and playing with daily issues.

Redesigned World Map - We use a regular earth map, but we select only partial areas of large countries, and form our countries and play through our own style of history, and develop our own weapons, and treaties etc...

Individual Games - Where we may play against friends in single campaign games such as:

NATO vs. Warsaw, play against a friend in spreading American and Soviet ideals around the globe

Partition of India, Where we take up the reigns of those involved in dividing India.

And any others people come up with.

Are you thinking of doing all of these or just a few? if it is just a few of the everybody ones then i like the Current world map and the NS2 World one. The Historical RP was a complete and total disaster. It was like a kid who bought ice cream and right before taking a bite of it accidentally dropped it in the gutter!

I agree, we'll need to perfect it.


What I think was a major flaw in the way I setup the GIA RPing was it was too centralized and structured.

Yes, I think that would be good. But in game the RP in the GIA was too... uhh... organized. Gracania's obsession with International laws played a big part with that.

Gracania really messed things up. I think he realizes that now. But whatever.

Well, in the RP he turned off the Historical World Map RP. Which had just gotten going. Imagine your having a dream, of a nice juicy burger. Then you wake up and realize nothing was there.

Or a little kid with an ice cream cone, just as you take your first lick, it all falls on the ground. That's what it was like, and I guarantee you, that the GIA died in part because of that. Everyone got bored, and p.o.'d...

Oh. Well I did finish the arguement lol, and as far as RP, how about an accidental shooting down of a commercial flight?
